Nicola and Martin went for a purple and grey colour scheme for their wedding at the Macdonald Portal Hotel back in August 2019. The cake was made from three tiers: vanilla and white chocolate chip, with strawberry buttercream, salted caramel with caramel buttercream and cherry bakewell sponge with vanilla buttercream. All decorated in shades of purple and grey fondant blossoms. The wedding favours were gingerbread hearts that were also used as place cards, having guests name’s piped onto them.
