Consultations
Wedding cake consultations are by appointment onlywhere you can try some delicious samples of cake, and we can discuss design ideas and colours that have inspired you for your big day. A sketch of your wedding cake design will be provided along with a clear description of the order. Please contact me (link to contact page) for more details and to book an appointment.
Alterations
Any alterations to the design of your cake should be discussed with us as soon as possible. We will try to accommodate any requests but cannot guarantee they can be met.
Price
All cakes are designed to your bespoke requirements; therefore, prices are dependent on a number of factors including the size and design of the cake, and the complexity of the decoration.
For Wedding cakes, I ask for a £50 non-refundable deposit to secure your date in the diary followed by a second payment 6 weeks before the wedding and the final payment 2 weeks before. For all other cake orders, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required with the balance payable on collection/delivery.
Collection or delivery
Wedding cakes are always delivered and setup at the venue on your wedding day.
For all other cakes, free of charge collection from Sugarcloud Cakes or delivery (additional charge) is available.
Sugarcloud Cakes accepts no liability for cakes that are damaged after they have been delivered/collected. For cakes delivered to a venue, Sugarcloud Cakes will photograph the cake as proof it arrived in perfect condition.
Food Allergies
Please discuss with us if you or any of your guests have special dietary requirements.
Please be aware that although ingredients such as nuts can be removed from the cakes, they are still used in our kitchen so we cannot guarantee that any of our cakes are completely free of them and may contain traces of ALL allergens.
